Now based in Singapore, Jassy provides bespoke teaching courses in voice and music theory for a small number of select, high-potential students each year across Asia.

Following a scholarship to the prestigious Royal College of Music, London, Jassy gained a Masters with Distinction in Advanced Vocal Studies from the Wales International Academy of Voice.

She has studied under some of the leading conductors, coaches, and performers, including Dame Kiri Te Kanawa, Richard Bonynge, Gerald Martin Moore (Metropolian Opera), Richard Miller and David Gowland (Royal Opera House, Covent Garden).

In 2017-18 she was a lecturer at YALE-NUS College in Singapore, a collaboration between Yale University and the National University of Singapore for their undergraduate programme.

In 2018-19 will be a lecturer at LASALLE College of the Arts in Singapore for their undergraduate programme.

Jassy has also been a guest lecturer at the Tasmanian Conservatorium of Music.

Teaching style

Jassy uses a technically-based teaching style that has been refined over the last 15 years through her work with renowned voice teachers including Dennis O'Neill, CBE, and Marie McLaughlin. 

She is known for her excellent communication skills with young people and an ability to bring out their best and build their confidence. All her previous students have successfully passed their ABRSM Exams with excellent results and many have gained music scholarships at some of the leading British schools. 

Ages worked with

  • Typically working with students ages 6 to 18 but I have experience working with adults.

  • Member of the ABRSM with full CRB checks.

  • Experience working with children who have special needs.
