Driven by a life-or-death choice, John joins the pirates, guided by the enigmatic Barbary pirate Badas and under the command of a ruthless Captain. The Captain’s wife, Eliza Power, is driven with hidden motives, and when she uncovers John and Badas' romance, she seizes her chance at freedom by inciting a mutiny.
